QS18UPAEQPMA Description
Banner Engineering QS18UPAEQPMA is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and includes a remote IP68 / NEMA 6 TEACH button. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The QS18UPAEQPMA operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and has a rectangular shape. It utilizes a 300kHz transmission frequency and is constructed with an ABS housing and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. The sensing distance ranges from 50 to 500mm, and it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for signaling. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit and has a degree of protection rated at IP68 NEMA 6P.
