QS18UPAEQ5 Description

Banner Engineering QS18UPAEQ5 is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and includes a remote IP68 / NEMA 6 TEACH button for easy setup. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The QS18UPAEQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and is housed in an ABS material. It has a rectangular shape and utilizes a 300kHz transmission frequency for sensing distances between 50mm and 500mm. This model is equipped with one digital output (PNP transistor) and includes protection functions against short-circuits. The degree of protection provided is IP68 NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.
