QS18UPAEQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18UPAEQ is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and includes a remote IP68 / NEMA 6 TEACH button for easy setup. It connects via a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The QS18UPAEQ offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 NEMA 6P and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Its rectangular shape is constructed from ABS housing, ensuring durability. The sensor operates at a 300kHz transmission frequency and can detect distances ranging from 50 to 500mm. It is equipped with one digital output (PNP transistor) and includes protection against short-circuits.
