QS18UPAE Description
Banner Engineering QS18UPAE is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and includes a remote IP68 / NEMA 6 TEACH button for easy setup. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The QS18UPAE operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and is housed in an ABS material for durability. It has a rectangular shape and utilizes a 300kHz transmission frequency for sensing distances between 50mm and 500mm. This model is equipped with one digital output (PNP transistor) and includes protection functions against short-circuiting.
