QS18UNAEQ5 Description
Banner Engineering QS18UNAEQ5 is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and includes a remote IP68 / NEMA 6 TEACH button. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The QS18UNAEQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and is housed in ABS material. It has a rectangular shape and utilizes a 300kHz transmission frequency for sensing distances between 50 and 500mm. The sensor is equipped with one digital output (NPN transistor) and includes protection functions against short-circuit. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP68 NEMA 6P.
