Banner Engineering QS18RPWLPQ2 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. It operates in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin 1/2" micro connector for quick connectivity. This sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and is part of the QS18 universal voltage series. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 20Vac-140Vac (120Vac nominal) and 20Vdc-140Vdc (24Vdc / 48Vdc / 120Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various power supply configurations. The QS18RPWLPQ2 is housed in a thermoplastic casing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability, and it offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m with visible red light for detection. It features a single digital output (PNP MOSFET transistor), operates in Dark-ON mode, and provides a quick response time of 8.3ms / 0.0083 s. This sensor is also designed to withstand harsh environments with a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6.
