QS18RNWDXL Description
Banner Engineering QS18RNWDXL is a photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and is equipped with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for precise sensitivity control. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into various systems. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 20Vac-270Vac (with 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac as nominal values) and 20Vdc-270Vdc (with 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 120Vdc as nominal values), belonging to the QS18 universal voltage series. The device is housed in a thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability, and it offers a sensing distance of up to 1m with infrared (IR) light for reliable detection. It features a dark-ON operating mode, a single digital output (NPN MOSFET transistor), and boasts a quick response time of 8.3ms / 0.0083 s. The QS18RNWDXL is rated with a degree of protection IP67 NEMA 6, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
