QS18EP6XLPC Description

Banner Engineering QS18EP6XLPC is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications. It features an M18 threaded mount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 Expert series and is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The QS18EP6XLPC offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. The sensor's housing is made of thermoplastic, and it features a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It has a sensing distance of up to 3m and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. This model supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
