QS18EP6LPQ5 Description
Banner Engineering QS18EP6LPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is built for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connections. Part of the QS18 Expert series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. The QS18EP6LPQ5 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms (0.0006 seconds).
