Banner Engineering QS18EP6LPQ is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a retro-reflective mode and TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. Part of the QS18 Expert series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for demanding environments. The QS18EP6LPQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and features a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
