It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy connection. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic casing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. The QS18EP6DQ8 can detect objects up to 800mm away using infrared (IR) light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for signal processing.
