QS18EN6XLPC Description
Banner Engineering QS18EN6XLPC is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series. This sensor features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality for enhanced application flexibility. The sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating straightforward integration into various systems. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The QS18EN6XLPC operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3m and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for signal transmission.
