Banner Engineering QS18EN6WQ5-71032 is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is designed with a divergent system TEACH mode for adaptable functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring a reliable connection. The sensor is housed in a thermoplastic material with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, offering a sensing distance of up to 300mm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (NPN transistor) for signal processing. With a rapid response time of 0.6ms (0.0006 seconds), this sensor is designed to meet the demands of various applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6 standards, ensuring durability in challenging environments.
