Banner Engineering QS18EN6LPQ8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is built in a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. It operates in retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality for enhanced performance. The QS18EN6LPQ8 is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy connection and is part of the QS18 Expert series. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m with visible red light for detection. The sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for signal processing. With a quick response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s, it ensures timely detection. The device is protected to IP67 and NEMA 6 standards, making it suitable for challenging environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) for operation.
