Banner Engineering QS18EN6DV is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode for versatile applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring its suitability for various environments. With a protection rating of IP67 NEMA 6, it is well-protected against dust and water ingress. The QS18EN6DV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), and offers a sensing distance of up to 600mm with visible red light for easy alignment. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides quick response times of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s through its 1 x digital output (NPN transistor).
