Banner Engineering QS18EN6DB is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed for a wide range of sensing applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and features a diffuse mode with TEACH mode for adaptable sensing. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The QS18EN6DB offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, capable of sensing distances up to 500mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
