QS18EK6XLPC W/30 Description
Banner Engineering QS18EK6XLPC W/30 is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is designed for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6 and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. The sensor's housing is made of thermoplastic, and it has a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol and can detect objects up to a distance of 3m with visible red light at a wavelength of 625 nm. It operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
