QS18EK6RVQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18EK6RVQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with an opposed mode TEACH mode. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 Expert series and offers a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy connection. It is protected by a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The QS18EK6RVQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. It has a rectangular shape and is capable of sensing distances up to 20 meters with a visible red light of 625 nm wavelength. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
