Banner Engineering QS18EK6LPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and utilizes a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail, terminating in a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, aligning with the QS18 Expert series specifications. It boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environments. The QS18EK6LPQ5 operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is housed in a thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and emits visible red light at a wavelength of 640 nm. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and features two digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
