QS18EK6LPQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18EK6LPQ is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, falling under the QS18 Expert series. The QS18EK6LPQ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, capable of sensing distances up to 3.5m. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 640 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Additionally, it features 2 digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.6ms (0.0006 seconds).
