Banner Engineering QS18EK6EQ7 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, operating in opposed mode with TEACH mode functionality. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. The QS18EK6EQ7, part of the QS18 series, offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 940 nm for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. This sensor is powered by a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. It is designed to meet IP67 and NEMA 6 degrees of protection, ensuring durability in various environments. Additionally, it incorporates IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced data exchange and configurability.
