QS18EK6DVQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18EK6DVQ is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode for versatile applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connections. With an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, it is built to withstand harsh environments. The QS18EK6DVQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc as nominal values, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It supports IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced connectivity and control. The sensor offers a sensing distance of up to 600mm and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 640 nm. It can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, featuring 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
