Banner Engineering QS18APWDXL is a photo-electric sensor designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy connection. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 20Vac-140Vac (120Vac nominal) and 20Vdc-140Vdc (24Vdc / 48Vdc / 120Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various power supply configurations. The QS18 universal voltage series sensor boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its thermoplastic housing and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens are designed for longevity, while the infrared (IR) light source and a sensing distance of 1m enable reliable detection. The sensor operates in Light-ON mode and includes 1 x digital output (PNP MOSFET transistor) for signal processing, with a rapid response time of 8.3ms / 0.0083 s.
