Banner Engineering QS18AB6AFF40Q5 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed with a foreground suppression system that allows for screw adjustment. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring compatibility with a variety of installations. Part of the QS18AFF40 mechanically adjustable foreground suppression series, it offers a sensing distance of 15 to 40mm and emits visible red light for detection. The QS18AB6AFF40Q5 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and features a rectangular shape. It provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a response time of 2.5ms / 0.0025 s. This sensor is protected to IP67 NEMA 6 standards, ensuring durability in challenging environments.
