Banner Engineering QS186LE212Q is a Class 2 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C. This sensor is part of the QS186LE series and is characterized by its opposed (horizontal) system design. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, facilitating easy and quick connection. The QS186LE212Q is protected against dust and water ingress, boasting an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's housing is made from durable thermoplastic, and it features a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It is capable of sensing objects up to 15 meters away and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm for easy alignment and setup.
