Banner Engineering Q40SP6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an M30 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic material. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. The Q40SP6R, part of the Q40 DC series, offers a sensing distance of up to 60m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile signaling. This sensor is powered by a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and ensures quick response times of 3ms for ON and 1.5ms for OFF operations.
