Banner Engineering Q40AW3RQ1 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component within an opposed mode setup. This sensor features a M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity and requires a supply voltage of 20Vac-250Vac, with nominal voltages of 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. Part of the Q40 AC series, it boasts a high degree of protection rated at IP69K NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor's rectangular, thermoplastic housing is designed for longevity, and it offers a sensing distance of up to 60m. Utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm in a Light-ON operating mode, it provides a digital output through a solid-state AC output with SPST contact type. The response times are quick, with an ON response of 16ms and an OFF response of 8ms, facilitating efficient operation in various applications.
