Q40SP6RQ Description
Banner Engineering Q40SP6RQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component within an opposed mode setup. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Q40 DC series and is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward connectivity. It boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The Q40SP6RQ operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing, offering a sensing distance of up to 60 meters. The sensor utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It provides a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and features a quick response time of 3ms for ON and 1.5ms for OFF operations.
