Banner Engineering Q40SP6FF200 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. This sensor features a M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It incorporates a background suppression system to enhance detection accuracy and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. Part of the Q40 DC series, it offers an IP67 NEMA 6P degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular, thermoplastic housing is designed for longevity, and it has a sensing distance of 200mm. Utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor provides a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a quick response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
