Banner Engineering Q20PRLQ5 is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius. This sensor is part of the Q20 series and features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The supply voltage requirement is between 10Vdc and 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The Q20PRLQ5 has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing, capable of sensing distances up to 20 meters. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor includes one digital output (PNP transistor) and features a response time of 1ms (0.001 s) for ON and 0.6ms (0.0006 s) for OFF.
