Q20PRQ5 Description

Banner Engineering Q20PRQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component in an opposed mode setup. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius and is housed in a thermoplastic material, ensuring durability. It features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it offers a sensing distance of up to 12 meters and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The Q20PRQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is equipped with one digital output (PNP transistor) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor's response times are 1ms (0.001 s) for ON and 0.6ms (0.0006 s) for OFF. It is designed with a rectangular shape and provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
