Q20PLVQ5 Description
Banner Engineering Q20PLVQ5 is a photo-electric sensor from the Q20 series designed for a variety of detection applications. This sensor operates in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It functions within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and offers a sensing distance of up to 6 meters. The Q20PLVQ5 features a rectangular, thermoplastic housing and provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor emits visible red light at a wavelength of 645 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 0.8ms / 0.0008 s.
