Banner Engineering Q20E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter within the Q20 series. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It features a rectangular, thermoplastic housing that provides an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The Q20E operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It offers a sensing distance of up to 12 meters and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm for detection. The sensor's response times are 1ms (0.001 s) for turning on and 0.6ms (0.0006 s) for turning off, ensuring timely operation for automation tasks.
