Banner Engineering DS18VP6FF50Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, ensuring durability in various environments. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and has a quick response time of 2ms. The DS18VP6FF50Q8 is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Its rectangular shape and background suppression system allow for precise sensing up to a distance of 50mm. This model is part of the DS18 series and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy connection. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values.
