Banner Engineering DS18VN6LPQ8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M18 threaded mount and is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and can detect objects up to a distance of 3.5m. The DS18VN6LPQ8 has a quick response time of 2ms and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for signaling. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor is designed in a rectangular shape and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation.
