DS186EQ Description

Banner Engineering DS186EQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor is housed in a durable thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, ensuring operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. It boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The DS186EQ emits infrared light at a wavelength of 940 nm and can detect objects up to 20 meters away. As part of the DS18 series, this sensor operates on a through-beam system in opposed mode. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates in a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, facilitating easy and quick connections. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as the nominal voltages.
