NI8U-M12E-AP6X F2 Description
Turck NI8U-M12E-AP6X F2 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features an extended barrel design. This sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, falling under the NI...-M12 series. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal. The shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, capable of a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. Constructed from chrome-plated brass housing, PBT sensing face, EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, it ensures durability and longevity. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M12, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a current consumption of 25mA (no-load current).
