NI8U-M12-RP6X Description
Turck NI8U-M12-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into various systems. Part of the NI...-M12 series, it features a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, ensuring durability and longevity. With an IP68 degree of protection, it is well-suited for use in environments requiring high levels of dust and moisture resistance. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of 8mm. It has a partially threaded barrel shape with an M12 thread size, and its operating mode is NC (Normally Closed). The NI8U-M12-RP6X can handle a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). It also features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a no-load current consumption of 25mA.
