NI8U-M12-AP6X-1-RS4T Description
Turck NI8U-M12-AP6X-1-RS4T is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 1m / 3ft pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. As part of the NI...-M12 series, it features a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor has an IP68 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and has a shape of an M12 partially threaded barrel. The maximum switching frequency is 1kHz / 1000Hz, and it offers a sensing distance of 8mm. Operating in NO (Normally Open) mode, it has an M12 thread size and provides 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a current consumption of 15mA (no-load current).
