Turck NI8U-EG12SK-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features a short barrel design for compact installation spaces. This sensor is equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for connection, falling under the NI...-EG12 series. It offers an IP68 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The supply voltage requirement is 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its shape is an M12 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber, and it can switch at frequencies up to 2kHz. The housing is made from 1.4301 (304) stainless steel, and the sensing face from PBT, allowing for a sensing distance of 8mm. The operating mode is normally open (NO), with a thread size of M12.
