NI8-S18-AZ3X Description
Turck NI8-S18-AZ3X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. This sensor features a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection and supports a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac nominal) and 10-300Vdc (including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, and 250Vdc nominal). Part of the NI...-S18 series, it boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape, with a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz. Constructed from PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) for both the housing and sensing face, and EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) for the end cap, it also features a PVC cable jacket. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire; 400mA max.), with a control circuit rated current of 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A.
