NI8-M12-VP6X 7M Description
Turck NI8-M12-VP6X 7M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 7m / 23ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. Part of the NI...-M12 series, it features a chrome-plated brass housing in an M12 partially threaded barrel shape, ensuring durability and compatibility with standard fittings. With a supply voltage requirement of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), it offers a sensing distance of 8mm and can operate in both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) modes, providing complementary outputs. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and includes a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). It is designed with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for use in environments requiring high levels of dust and water resistance.
