Turck NI3-EG08-AP6X/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m cable for connectivity, featuring a pre-wired design with bare end flying leads. This sensor is part of the NI...-EG08 series and comes with a Weldguard coated, M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) design, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP67. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can handle a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz. The housing is made from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, offering a sensing distance of 3mm in a Normally Open (NO) operating mode. The thread size is M8, and it features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection, with a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s and a control circuit rated current of 150mA / 0.15 A.
