NI3-G08-AN6X Description
Turck NI3-G08-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-G08 series and features an M8 fully threaded barrel shape, ensuring a compact and durable installation. With a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, it accommodates various power supplies. The sensor's housing is made from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67 against dust and water ingress. It has a sensing distance of 3mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M8, and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) capable of handling a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity safeguards. The response time is 8ms, and the control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA.
