NI3.5-Q5.5-AP6X Description
Turck NI3.5-Q5.5-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m long, pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-Q5.5 series and features a 5.5mm thick rectangular body with a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can switch at frequencies up to 2kHz. The sensing face is made from glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and the cable jacket is made of Polyurethane (PUR). It offers a sensing distance of 3.5mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its response time is 8ms, and it has a control circuit rated current of 150mA with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
