NI3-G08-AP6X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI3-G08-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It belongs to the NI...-G08 series and features a fully threaded M8 barrel shape for easy installation. With a degree of protection rated at IP67, it is suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance is required. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can switch at frequencies up to 3kHz. Its housing is made from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel, with a PA12-GF20 glass fiber reinforced Polyamide sensing face, a Polypropylene end cap, and a Polyurethane cable jacket. The sensing distance is 3mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M8, and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
