NI15-G28-Y1 Description
Turck NI15-G28-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. This ATEX-compliant special version is distinguished by its lack of an LED indicator and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. As part of the NI...-G28 series, it features a Pg12 fully threaded barrel shape, offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. The sensor's housing is made from chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a TROGAMID end cap, complemented by a PVC cable jacket. It has a sensing distance of 15mm, utilizes a Pg 21 thread size, and includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) with a maximum switching frequency of 200Hz.
