Turck BI15-CP40-AP6X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-CP40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. It offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor's maximum switching frequency is 150Hz, with a response time of 8ms. It includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 15mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
