BI15-CP40-FDZ30X2/S10 Description

Turck BI15-CP40-FDZ30X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (24Vac / 200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nom.) and 10-300Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc / 48Vdc / 120Vdc / 200Vdc / 250Vdc nom.). The sensor is housed in a PBT-GF30-V0 material, which is glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, for both the housing and the sensing face. It features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm (Combiprox) with a terminal chamber, and it offers a degree of protection of IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and operates within a network frequency of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. This model includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 400mA max.), with a sensing distance of 15mm. It also features protection functions such as output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP), with a control circuit rated current of 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A. The operating mode is programmable to be either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
