Turck BI15-CP40-FZ3X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (24Vac / 200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nominal) and 10-300Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc / 48Vdc / 120Vdc / 200Vdc / 250Vdc nominal). The sensor is housed in a PBT-GF30-V0 material, which is glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, for both the housing and the sensing face. It features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm (Combiprox) with a terminal chamber. It is protected to IP67 standards, ensuring operation in various environmental conditions. The maximum switching frequency is 20Hz, and it is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. This sensor offers 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire; 300mA max.) and has a sensing distance of 15mm. The control circuit rated current is between 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A. It supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed), which are programmable to suit various application needs.
